I was raised in Haslett, Michigan and graduated from Haslett High School. My daughter and I live in Dansville with our lovable dog Amber. We also have a horse that we spend a lot of time working with and loving on. I spend much of my “free time” watching and supporting my daughter in her many sports and activities.

My first experience with chiropractic was at 3 months old. I had colic and after one adjustment, it was gone! My parents were thrilled to say the least. I had an auto accident at 14 years old that was the cause of significant whiplash. My chiropractor saw me everyday to get me back to a point where I could sit through church and class without debilitating headaches.

In May 2001, I graduated from Northwestern Health Sciences University with a Bachelor in Biology and Doctor of Chiropractic. I have extensive education in sports injury and rehab. Through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, I have over 200 hours of post graduate pediatric and pregnancy training. These patients should not be twisted and adjusted the same way a non-pregnant adult can be. I have many hours of nutritional training, including Nutritional Response Testing (NRT). I am currently working on a certification for Sacro-Occipital Technique (SOT). There are only a few practitioners in Michigan. It is a very gentle technique that gets amazing results for patients with minimal to severe pain. In addition to SOT, I am trained and utilize Activator, Diversified, and Thompson (drop table) Techniques.

I worked in Portland, Michigan for 6 ½ years and then purchased Chiropractic Health Clinic, now Okemos Chiropractic Health Clinic in February 2008. OCHC was previously located on Jolly Road. In May 2012 we moved to our current location at 2186 Commons Parkway, Okemos, Michigan.
